Poppers!

Part of Tom's healthy living plan includes eating a variety of fruits and vegetables. Tom selected Japaneno peppers on a recent trip to PCC. Xine is going to prepare "poppers" omitting the crunchy coating and the deep-frying.



Tom poses with the poppers before they are cooked. These tasty morsels were first blanched in boiling water, then stuffed with a mixture of cheddar and cream cheese (from Target's dairy case!). Then they were baked in the oven to a degree of mild jalapeno goodness.

Tom poses with a popper. Dad-bob however gets into the spirit of things and displays the proper amount of enthusiasm. Perhaps just a tad too much enthusiasm.
